After retiring from the police force, Michael shares his battle with PSTD and how he overcame to become one of the leading advocates for PTSD awareness for First Responders worldwide.

Michael Sugrue is a keynote speaker and dedicated advocate for awareness, prevention, education, training on Post Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI), Resiliency and First Responder Suicide Prevention.
He is a retired Police Sergeant and former U.S. Air Force Captain (Security Forces) with over 21 years of proven management, operations, training, supervisory and leadership experience.
He is also a Peer Volunteer at the West Coast Post Trauma Retreat (First Responder Support Network).
